The group has been sharing the Gospel message since 1982, when a collection of talented musicians decided to share their musical gifts in service to the Lord. While the Singing Disciples have been through several personnel changes over the years, the quality of the music and the message has remained at a high level, reaching thousands of lives through personal appearances and airplay by Christian radio and television stations.

Their unfailing devotion to Jesus Christ has helped make the Singing Disciples one of the most sought-after groups in the field of Gospel Music. Members of the group include: Lanny Bryant, a tenor who sings lead; a husband-and-wife team, Jay and Pam Fabin, who sing bass and alto respectively; baritone/pianist Jim Barrett, percussionist Matt Bryant and bassist Ron Sexton.

The Singing Disciples are veteran performers in the tri-state area, answering the call to perform not as a commercial enterprise, but because they desire to serve God through a ministry of music.

The Singing Disciples have recorded for Gloryland Records and their songs have received airplay on a number of radio stations around the United States. Local and regional television stations have broadcast their performances.

But "live" is where the Singing Disciples are at their best. The group relies on close four-part southern-style harmonies and a variety of tempos to convey its message of love and salvation. Since all of the group members are experienced soloists, a typical Singing Disciples performance is likely to feature some spontaneous solos, duets and a trio now and then.

The group is versatile enough to perform at concerts, fairs, festivals and song fests, but the Singing Disciples make their ministry their number one priority.
